The practice

A point
of view.

SATU Singapore is an international design practice connecting interior design, architecture, furniture and the experience of place.

Place / Proportion / Detail

Start with people.
Stay with the detail.

SATU’s work connects residential interiors, workplace strategy, hospitality, commercial design and architectural thinking. We welcome briefs across Singapore, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The selected portfolio brings Singapore projects together with regional design presentations, each labelled by its actual location.

We consider planning, lighting, materials and furniture as parts of the same experience. The brief identifies the activities and constraints; the design turns those requirements into an interior with its own character.

Working together

From a question
to a considered space.

01

Listen & define

We discuss the property, the people, the required scope and the decisions ahead.

02

Plan & explore

Layouts and visual studies test how the brief can become a usable, distinctive interior.

03

Detail & coordinate

Materials, lighting and interfaces are developed around the agreed design and appointment.

04

Review & deliver

Responsibilities, approvals and site coordination follow the agreed scope and programme.
